Destination, North
TehranThe great desire to get in touch with nature in the remaining days of the new year holidays, dragged Mrs.Behi and me towards the evergreen North. Riding for around 230 Kms from Theranthrough mountain roads, we are finally here. I have taken many photos from refreshing rain forests and fantastic fresh mountain landscapes. For now, let me share with you the inspiration of this magnolia tree and the dazzling contrast of its fresh color.

The green climber
Walking along a busy bus lane, I noticed this small plant dragging itself up a small tree, Inspired by the spring. The moment I pressed the bottom was not the best one for this little green fellow as smoke was emitting from the passing by city bus.

Dreams of working children
I was sad by this view when Mrs.Behi and me were heading towards northern mountain parks in Tehran to walk and relax. These two boys were apparently back from their daily hard job, gazing at wristwatches on display. Sorry if the image is a bit hazy, I was on the move, there was little time for me and for them, time is apparently something they seek to realize and “live in” not to be “dragged by”.

Waiting to Bloom
I captured this nice array of trees in a nice afternoon at Jamshidieh Mountain Park, North of Tehran. Plenty of people were there to enjoy the fresh spring weather. For both people and the trees, spring is a hope to bloom and have a productive year ahead. For the former, it is natural to happen but let's hope for the later to happen.

Flower Shop
Down town Tehran, One sunny Wednesday and this nice flower shop with nice collection of the New Year beauties in the front. Look at the shop keeper at the left, he is looking at me getting picture of him from the other side of the road. He gazes as if I am a spy!

Northern Tehran
Spring is showing us signs these days. After 48 hours of nice rainfall, today we enjoyed a fantastic view of the mountains that is doomed by pollution most of the time. This photo was captured from the 11th floor of a tower north of Tehran.
