Mossadegh - A New Rock Opera
It is amazing to hear this rock opera about a nobel man who had great dreams for Iran. Mosadegh was a pioneer prime minister in 1953 who took out the asset of oil from the hands of Britons and declared it national asset. His government was overthrown by a cope planned by CIA and that even became the source for future Anti-Americanism in Iran. This song is dedicated to him and there are useful links in this website to the related article about the event.
Arian band, the best persian music to be found
Arian band has already overwhelmed the country with it's third album and now they are touring in the west. Mr.Behi Listens to their music most of the week. These very talented fellows choose their songs and music with strong sense of beauty that gives the audience the pleasure of listening to a pack of joy and wisdom. Each of their albums earns a big improvement over the one before. I hope the musician of the Iranian community in Los Angeles stop copying the freak style of music video they have adopted and go for a more meaningful music.
