why he was there?

Link: BBC NEWS | Asia-Pacific | Refugee sues Australia government.

I am overwhelmingly sad when I heard this news. A five year old child, held in a refugee camp where he saw things that no adult could escape without mental problems. I still can not understand why he and his family were kept under such harsh condition. Why do Australians put refugees behind bars like that? I am glad that this case is opened. Maybe it can provide a window of hope for other children who are watching their future ruined in such camps just because their parents decided to take refuge! I wonder if the "kind" Iranian government is helping a little to show some responsibility(?). Oh, I forgot, they are so busy getting nuclear technology!

The suffering of being a second class!

Link: BBC NEWS | Middle East | Children die in Baghdad car bomb.

A very outrageous and savage action happened again. This time, innocent children are victims of blind hatred in a dark age of war against humanity. The thing that is more irritating is that such incidents happen in Iraq almost every day just like in many other regions in the third world and people do not react that much. It is not I guess a very big demand from the world to react as much as the scale of the London explosions. I am in grief of such discrimination in action. If we believe in equality of humans, we shall react to the cruel actions against innocents who are caught in this war between US army and stupid mindless suicide bombers. Those innocent children had the right to live and this right has to be defended for other children. What these people want? Why children? Any one knows any English website/weblog by supporters of suicide bombings? We shall pour in hard debates!

Human right is for everyone! Reply to a comment

One of the many concerned readers of this blog mentioned this in a comment for the previous posts

What is it about Muslims that makes it impossible for you to take ANY responsibility for yourselves? Could it be that Islam's demand for complete submission cancels out any ability for reflective thinking? Could it be that Mr. Mohammed was a fraud (to say the very least)?

Name ONE other founder of a religion who was a murderer and a thief (not to mention pedophile?) Islam is worse than bogus and now more and more civilized people know it.

Stop demanding equal attention. You actually do not deserve it.

Topple your own damned dictators and leave the rest of us alone.

Google Bomb for Ganji

Link: Reporters sans frontieres - Iran.

This is a least I can do for supporting Iranian bloggers in defence of Human Rights. Hope all the political prisoners can be freed soon. Hope no one else shall stay behind bars for expressing his/her opinion.

New: Seems that he is out of prison for medical purposes now. Hope it will not be temporary.

Exchanging monarchs for monsters? Hell NO!

Please join me in giving a round of applaud for this concise and compelling report that questions legitimacy of MKO (Mojahedin Khalq Organization) on what they argue that they are a democratic and hence suitable substitute for current Iranian government. I always liked to hear these words from an independent voice cause when Iranians condemn this group they receive the accusation of supporting Iranian government. What if we do not like to endorse any of these two? I feel really sorry to see that a group of European parliament members and some American congressmen are calling for removal of MKO from the list of terrorist organizations. I feel it is a very ugly view that “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”(Do not forget that “Taliban” is Afghanistan were US friends when they were fighting Soviet army!). MKO calls itself  “Government in Exile” but no one knows who else apart from its supporters voted for it! They praise their leaders JUST like the way supporters of Iranian leadership do for theirs and “Obey without questions” is a conspicuous fact and is carefully applied to the unfortunate members. They are as religious as Iranian leaders, as strict as they are and they do love taking revenge from whom they dislike in a savage way. I feel sorry for thousands of Iranians who got killed or adopted a perished life because they became member of militias supporting either MKO or Islamic revolutionary guard! I should tell those EU/US representatives who call for removal of this bloodthirsty group from the list of terrorist organizations to open their eyes and see that they are putting the eggs of human right swan in the dark den of dragons.

Drawings of War

Link: Darfur Drawn: The Conflict in Darfur Through Children's Eyes.

These drawings by children from Daefur remindes me my own childhood. The era of war with Iraq, the period that many children of my age spent with the horror of bombings and missile attacks. I remember taking my final exams in armored shelters, receiving school courses from black and white TV charged by car battery in a tent. I remember alarms every now and then and rushing to the shelters, hearing the screams. I remember watching the tail of missiles high in the sky, competing with my cousins in tracking them waiting for the blast. I remember orders from school manager to repeat after the voice of the radio "Down with Sadam!" before going to class. I remember my kind friend died in one of the attacks. I remember my lost childhood. I look at the children of my country now. Will they do the same drawings as I did? I hope not.

Iranian web gurus; fighting filtering behind the enemy lines!

Perhaps only people of China can have sympathy with Iranians in dealing with information blackout in the cyberspace. The right to know like other rights is something to fight for and get. As Iranian government continues spending precious money on making smarter filtering armors, young computer gurus act like “Zayans” in this armed to teeth Matrix. Each day, more proxy addresses get into e-mail and SMS messages notifying people about new backdoors for sneaking out of the realm of the information cage. This new one has brought joy for orkut users who are lately blocked from using this cyber-community network.

Street business

I met this guy polishing shoes in front of one of buildings belonging to a national oil and gas corporation. A few meters away from where he sits, people make deals each worth millions of dollars. The money of oil normally goes to those who already have enough!

Dude! Who moved my rights behind bars? Shall I go there with them?

Sorry, I could not find time lately to let you know about Mr. Behi these days but first he asked me to let you share one of the readers questions . I quote from him/her: It was very interesting for me to read the discussion about the future of Iran, because I don't really understand why the people, who are, as I saw it, frightened and not at all happy with the regime, don't do anything against it. And there will be elections in june and it looks as if Mr. Rafsanjani could even win. He won't be good for the future of iran, or how do you see it?) Good question indeed! I was discussing with Mr.Behi to see what he has to say (buddy, guess what? someone asked you a question! Say something!) but he is not a man of politics and does not have a clue of socialogy as a science. You as a reader feel free to leave your comment. That will help me grow and that is what blog is good for.
Why do Iranian people are so eager to have their rights but they relinquish active participation in getting them?
