There is an old saying "Don't be afraid of the thief. He is more nervous attacking you than you are defending yourself". As the situation in Iran unfolds into a new chapter with unprecedented outcomes, silent demonstrations and brave persistence of the opposition scratch the nerves of the Islamic republic. With brutal crackdown, direct shooting at people and blocking information, the so called Islamic theocracy is shedding its thin democratic skin and shows its true character of intolerance.
Facebook and balatarin.com are exploding with videos, pictures and reports from demonstrations. Despite heavy filtering of the internet, people are still making their way through proxy servers and anti filtering technologies. I have not seen Iran this united since long time ago and even if the movement fails to get the voting revoked, Iran has discovered a new spirit that will make the government to think again before messing with us again.
We are all green...shouting "where is my vote"




Not just are so many in irna united, they are united with the rest of the world too. It is awe-inspiring, and tragic and yet hopeful. People living under tyranny in other countries who can see this are cherrign ahrdest of all, and taking notes....
I hear people in iran are also writing "Where is my vote"{ and "Down with the Dictator" in English and farsi on their money.

In support of your freedom and that of the people of the world.
I was born in the USA and am a christian. I have been watching, with sadness, the violance happening in Iran of late caused by the disputed election there.
I agree with the notion that all people have the right to worship in the way they choose. That government has not the right to impose religion upon its citizens. I also support the right of the people to free and honest elections of their leaders.
Might I quote from our Declaration of Independence:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”
I support the Iranian people in their quest for freedom and self-determination.
I am an avarage man, who lives an avarage life in the USA. Be assured, people of Iran, the people of the USA only want peace, freedom and friendship. Our loyality to our government is not equal to our loyality to the people and the ideas of liberty and freedom.
