It is a chaotic world but you can still fit some curves over the mass of events and find a nice, meaningful trend. I was reading this Persian blog today that compared two pictures from the Iranian leader, first one taken recently showing him talking to army generals calling the rumors of his illness "the conspiracy of enemies". That was said after rumors spread across the country that the leader is suffering from a serious cancer. And you know we are Iranians!, can we help not to exaggerate when passing the story to our friends?" so you could hear people saying on behalf of the cousin of the wife of their friend's uncle who knew closely the personal physician of the leader! that he was in his death bed. It did not help much after he showed up on TV sometime ago, with his voice abnormally changed and his body awfully crumbled.
But the question is not whether his illness is lethal or not? oh wait a minute, as the same blog also noted, the leader of Cuba also had to deny his illness and called it in the same way, conspiracy of enemies! Should these guys ask themselves why it is that the interest in their death is so high? can we conclude that dictators make people so sick of their always being there that they just want them go for a change? oh...we Iranians are good at hoping for this, aren't we? We always want change without knowing what we want to change into....chanting for things we do not have, burning whatever we do have...
But anyway....seems that now we can also predict where this equation goes by a simple interpolation! Dictators often fall when the logical values supporting them start to fade. The slope of their power goes down and even when it looks like that they will go on till eternity, they hit the axis of doom one day! Alone...

Nice post...with more details about the case...thanks ;)

The problem with these guys is that they have an opinion too high of themselves. They love themselves so much, they believe their people won't be able to anything without them. Simply ridiculous.!

Love your posts. You could've easily called it the "death Function"...LOL
It's the nature of power. Absolute power corrupts (body and soul) absolutely. As Teddy Roosevelt put it: "“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.”

Soon, medical researchers will find ways to extend lives to hundreds of years. Guess who will be the first to take advantage of the expensive treatment?

Mr. Behi
Why some of you Iranian have no problem getting screwed from the West? Are you really that slave to the West? So when you talk bad about your country man, you feel happy when there are some applauses from the West. Look at the Mujahdeen Khalq, do you think one day the Iranian people will allow them to govern Iran? They sided with your worst enemy (Sadam), I don't if he is yours, and yet they want the people of Iran to forget all about that. You guys really don't know what being cooked for you out there. Keep the positive blogs buddy.

Mr.Behi says: Oh dear! No way. I have posted before my idea of the Mojahedin Khalgh. They are absolute NO NO! As you said, they sided with Sadam and had a lot of terrorism inside Iran. I can not believe having them as leaders.
It is not the applause from the west, but I become happy whenever the risk of confrontation between nations reduces even for a little time not just between Iran and west but between anyone. cheers behi
