The Iranian young; grown up in tyranny, treated with cruelty!

This is absolutely heart breaking. I really do not like to share with anyone the disgust and anger I am overwhelmed with after these pictures [1] [2] [3].

Two young Iranian boys, one less than 18 years old were executed in front of the public in Mashad, east of Iran for the crime of homosexuality. I am here in this line, writing and I have deleted this ten times because it is so difficult to transform feelings to words and images I foreseen for my country.
It seems that Iranian judiciary is doing it's best to show the world that Iran is transforming into a Taliban like Islamic system. Our culture of joy and happiness, ceremonies and poems, celebration and dancing is blocked by those who think their destiny is to cry and beg for mercy from God and hate and punish others who do not want this way of ascending to the heavens.

Letting alone the debate of "if homosexuality is a crime or not", such cruelty is absolutely intolerable and why an under-aged boy? Couldn't that judge think for one moment, even when he was truly thinking that it was a sin, that this is a kid he is killing? That boy could have had abused in his family before and even if we accept that he did wrong, he made a mistake! shall we not accept it from a young boy, you savage? It was in the news that they were crying and begging before the execution and it is apparent from one of the pictures linked above.

Iranian youngs are the majority of the population. They need happiness, inspiration and good prospects for future. These 17-18 years old fellows are grown up under this system that is shouting 24/7 that it is there to save prosperity for the people in this life and the one after and to prevent so called "against-God" stuff. After 26 years, the so called Islamic system is limiting and beating it's own children who are acting like a mirror for misleading, inefficient and wrong disciplines of culture, art and social standards.

Sexual relations has been a big taboo here with sever punishment. Police and judiciary have squeezing the society so hard not to permit easy relations of boys/girls (that is not necessarily about sex) leading  these relations to the underground. There is no sexual education and thus we see that the level of abuses is sky-rocketing and infection by sexually transmitted diseases is rising without any control from anyone. Any logical human being can understand I guess that this way of ruling is wrong. I hope one day, we can have religion separated from state so that those who commit crime against humanity can not hide themselves behind respected personal believes of religions.

New: Some of the websites argue that those executed abused other children and were members of a gang. Even if it is true, it would not certify what happened.

» Gay activists losing tolerance toward Islamic terror regimes? from Jeff Gannon - A Voice of the New Media
For over a year, radical gay activists have been shrieking over the treatment of terrorists at Abu Gharib, Guantanamo Bay and the Kandahar airport at the hands of U. S. soldiers. Having expended so much vitriol toward the Bush administration... [Read More]

Mister Behi,

Thanks for giving this detailed information.
Terrible to think that these guys were hanged for something that would only be subject to some jesting in many other countries.

Did islamic Iran sign the Universal Declaration of Human Rights?

Some philosopher said that religion says abolutely nothing about God but all about the people who created it and later practiced it.

Dear Mr. Behi,
The situation is so bad. This is just the top of IRI's cream cake. We are extremely concerned with the situation and are in touch with necessary Organizations around the world. The crimes of IRI continue whether is Ganji, Manoucher Mohammadi, Behzad Javid Tehrani, Kobra Rahmanpour and so many others. Believe me I know the pain you were feeling when you were writing your last post. I have that same pain and I know many others who do as well.
So the question arises for me that I need to ask you and I really hope you answer this question.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? I believe you have said many times in the past that Iran does not need to be helped from outside to reach democracy, freedom of expression, and the feeling of joy that every human deserves to feel.
So here we are, the news is clear: We kill, even under 18, we jail, let people starve, torture and......
What are you going to do? what are the iranians inside going to do? when? when? when?
Dorood be shoma dooste aziz.

Mr.Behi says: I think I am not the person to answwer this really but riot in the streets of Tehran will not increase democracy my friend. We did this once in 1979 and just recall the bloddshed afterwards. If Iranians learn peacful protest and orange revolution, then pprotesting would be a good idea.

This is terribly terribly bad :(:(:(...words won't do any justice :(:(:(:(.....

In another blog, I read that the two had been convicted of sexually abusing a 13-year old. Not that it makes the public execution any less apalling, but it certainly puts it under a different light. Can you confirm this? Is there a reliable report for this in English?

Thanks

unbelievable. it is just difficult to imagine that any human being could torture and kill another human being for their sexual orientation.

it is scary to think that the USA is becoming more and more religious. i don't know if it will ever get that bad, but who knows?

those poor boys. how is the iranian press reacting? the general public? do you think most people agree with the execution? and is this sort of thing common or pretty rare?

i'm going to write about this at my blog, because i really think people need to know that hate like that exists. thanks mr. behi, for the story.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

All the more reason for the democracy loving, benevolent socialists, Muhammad-preaching Persians of great civilizations need to rise up and revolt against these last few sick Ra'is-e Jomhours. We were once the greatest philosophers, scientists, and theologians of the world.

The Shah was horrible but by now the monarchy probably would be removed to western european standards. Iran could be a powerful society once again, but it takes the strong will of Allah to do this.

Bring Peace by the Sword; It Shames the Community but it is the Only Way.

Who cares? It's only two people. Thousands of people die every day from starvation.

Wow, Steve,
What an insensitive doofus.
I agree with dorood, it's time for average Iranians to rise up and throw this yoke off. It can be done, ask the Lebanese.

Thanks very much to Mr Behi for this information, however painful it is to relate.

And as for how the average (or even the super duper ones) Iranians rise up and throw off theocracy... I don't have any idea but I do applaud Mr Behi for having the courage to keep writing and thinking and giving a damn, even under the surveillance he surely attracts.

Thankyou.

I am proud to be an Iranian. I will teach my daughter to be a proud Iranian.
I weep for the lost glory of our Achaemenid and Sassanian heritage. We were one of the earliest, most advanced, and powerful civilizations in the world; a place of enlightenment and tolerance. So what happened?
The arrival of a foreign, evil, anti-Iranian force that goes by the name of Islam is what happened. Though our ancestors tried to resist, alas they were unable. Uneducated, sadistic, war-hungry Arabs who until 651 AD were without civilization, money, knowledge, or intelligence suddenly overran our country. They raped, murdered, looted, and forced our ancestors to convert or be killed or pay an exuberant, unaffordable tax. Tragically but understandably, Iranians became Muslims. After a few centuries, the evil seed of Islam got such a strong stranglehold on Iran that it became fused with our culture. It saddens me that we have so strongly embraced our enemy that we have forgotten how we came to be Muslims. Even worse, because of the backwardness of Islam, the full potential of modern Iran has not been realized, and we have been held back on decades if not centuries of progress. For over 13 centuries Islam has tormented Iran and has been the enemy from within. After thoroughly researching the hateful message of Islam and Iran's history and struggle, I naturally renounced this absurd religion which was given to me by birth. I invite all Iranians to truly research Islam and our history, so that they too can reach the same conclusions and slowly rid our country of this infestation.
To all my compatriots I say this:
History and knowledge are powerful tools. Don't forget our true history. Don't forget our true ancestors. Don't forget how Islam invaded and corrupted our good nation. Don't forget Iran's glorious past. And don't let your children forget it.

It is a shame to see a country that was finally getting out from under the radical thumb, to have taken three steps forward and 10 steps back. This President is an evil man that proves that Satan exists and that he will do whatever it takes to misguide people and make them suffer.

This terrorist, Ahmadinejad, is evil incarnate and will be the bastion of suffering for many people; Iranian and others alike. He was a terrorist during the American hostage scandal, and he is a terrorist today.

While I cannot wish death on any man, even those as evil as he, I do pray that God's justice rings true on this man before he hurts anymore people. Anyone who thinks that the world is so blind to see that he is chasing nuclear power, in order to use it regionally--most likely against Israel, is blind as a bat! However, to think that that is the only place he would unleash his sinful and evil tendencies is naive. Any nation, whether Muslim, Jewish, Christian or Hindu, he won't hesitate to do it.

The world stood idely by when another self-demented, power-hungry, delussioned idiot named Hitler made the same sounds, and the world suffered greatly for shutting their ear to it.

If all the people of Iran were to unite and oppose him and his government as a unifying force, this would end. But the question that needs to be asked is, "How bad do you want it?" and, "What are you willing to do?"

I submit to you that a thug like Ahmadinejad is no more than a coward hiding behind those who protect him and the Russian support system. Left alone, he would cringe in a fetal position, sucking his thumb and wondering what to do.

The future is in your hands. The Internet can help you to organize! The masses a more than the few! Without all of you, he has nothing to govern; hence he is obsolete!

I pray that God will give you the intestinal fortitude to stand up for your freedoms against a punk dictator and taste the wonderful flavor of liberty. When you have done so, you will be able to say that you have made mankind your business, the world your office and God your boss!

If Iranians are not willing to fight and die for their freedom, than they do not deserve it. Your leaders deal in bloodshed and cruelty and they only understand bloodshed and cruelty. It is time you make them answer for their crimes. When will the muslims realize that their leaders are not interested in religious beliefs they are interested in absolute power. Does not absolute power lie in the hands of God. I am not judged by my religous leaders, I am offered advice. It is God who judges. If my political leaders forced their views on my life and dictated my devotion to their beliefs, I would find a way to destroy them. If I'm wrong, God will judge me harshly not them. Fight for your freedom. Organize groups, Lead them and be willing to shed their blood.

As an Atheist, I can see items like this from an objective viewpoint. It saddens me to see something like this, even if those 2 children did the other deed they were accused of, they were children. They should have been punished but not slain. I have a feeling though, that claim may have been invented so that people wouldn't feel as bad for them when they were murdered for their one real crime: homosexuality. I have no proof of this of course.

Sort of off topic, but relevant due to the nature of this event and the latter posts in these comments, I thank reason every day that I had the ability to throw off my christian upbringing and see the world with clear vision. More evil has been done in this world in the name of various religions than any other idea. There will never be peace on earth until we as a species throw off the yoke of religion. Ever.
