Human right is for everyone! Reply to a comment

One of the many concerned readers of this blog mentioned this in a comment for the previous posts

What is it about Muslims that makes it impossible for you to take ANY responsibility for yourselves? Could it be that Islam's demand for complete submission cancels out any ability for reflective thinking? Could it be that Mr. Mohammed was a fraud (to say the very least)?

Name ONE other founder of a religion who was a murderer and a thief (not to mention pedophile?) Islam is worse than bogus and now more and more civilized people know it.

Stop demanding equal attention. You actually do not deserve it.

Topple your own damned dictators and leave the rest of us alone.

Please click below for my answer:

I am sorry that you live in a civil society and still you are not respecting the most principal fact of democracy that is respect for others. Just because some cruel people are out there who do not obey this universal rule, does not make us free from our dedication to the principals of dialogue. We are not living in an Island and by the way, do not point it at me because I am personally am not practicing any religion and have my own big list of questions from Islam.

This blog is for expresing my personal thoughts and is not to defend or endorse a group. Here I talk as a human and am disgusted by any action against humanity regardless of the shape and form. Every society has a dark side. Can you forget the tragedy of slavery? And the tortures of Christian church in the middle ages? Past is gone and we shall think of our future. Wise people of the world should think of making peace and any belief if it diverts from logic, makes a disaster for this effort. Fundamentalism is an illness that should be cured. Let's not to forget that Taliban was a good choice for west when they were using the same language and were fighting against Soviet army in Afghanistan.

My friend, I truly understand you frustration for cruel terrorist actions against human lives these days. So was I when a US navy ship above Persian Gulf hit an Iranian passenger airplane. So was I when Saddam was receiving money, weapons and intelligence from the west in his imposed war against Iran and used European made chemical weapons against people of Iran and Iraq.

Germany in the World War II was killing the Jews and their action was not about the religion Germans used to practice but of the cruelty of fascism and it’s principals. It is I think a duty for every human to try to make a better life in this planet and try to replace hatred with equality. Every human has a right although you say some don’t and it should be respected without discrimination on race, religion, color and country of origin. We had the dark age of slavery because some others were thinking that colored people had no right. This idea is a major problem.

We humans appeared on the surface of the Earth just some thousand years ago. We divided its united surface and perfectly matched environment into our lands as if they have been divided since beginning. There are lots of things out there that make us united and equal. We are at least residents of one beloved home The Mother Earth

P.S: In this blog, everyone is free to comment and I try to have a little democracy here. We talk, we grow, we live. :-)

Dear Mr Behi, first of all let me congratulate you for your brilliant believes. In fact if people around the world could truly understand these words we would be hopeful for better and bright future. I personally can not understand those who kill others in the name of Islam or any other religions. We are here to love and be loved that is all. during a history many prophets, philosophers,…came to help us to learn how to be real a human and respect others without whishing to wipe them out just because they do not think like us. Buddha(the Indian theosophist) said something that is really precious . he said: “Religion is like a boat, helping people to cross the river..” Crossing the river is important not he boats.
I think most of the time we forget about crossing, stay at beach and fight with each other on our boats. We kill others to prove that our boats are much much better.
Being prejudiced is hardship regardless of our excuse for that.
Prejudiced is prejudiced, there is no different between who are the fundamentalist Muslims or Christians.

I don't fault that reader. It's hard for a normal human to not noticed that all terrorist acts in the 10 years have been than by "muslim Jehadist". I agree many Muslims don't agree with the terrorism, buty et you don't see mass demostrations aginst it in the streets of Europe or America where large mulsim population lives. Where is the organized outcry against terrorism? Let's see some actions....show the world that most Muslims are aginst it.
-------
Mr. Behi says: You are right. As I mentioned in the post, I can not call myself a Muslim in any form but for protesting against this stupid actions against humanity I guess I am paying my share. This blog is my only tribune. Thanks for sharing your idea here. That was a good view. Cheers. behi

Dear Mr. Behi,

Regarding this bulldozer attack against your country's ruling religion, it reminds me
of Talleyrand's famous answer given to Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte: "Sire, all exaggeration is insignificant".
(For those who are interested in history, Napoleon insulted
Talleyrand by saying: "you are a heap of shit in a silk stocking")

As to religion in general,
I wonder sometimes if it is not one of the heaviest stones humanity has to wear around its neck. Attach power to religion, any one, and you get a monster. Even the most kindest of holy men, Buddha, had his creed
degenerated in Burma where it is official Religion for a ferocious dicatorship.

Therefore, once again, any creed should be a private affair.
Jorge

I personally don't believe our fight should be against Muslim's, Iranian's, or Syrians. The enemies of freedom are fundamentalists of ANY religion.

"It's hard for a normal human to not noticed that all terrorist acts in the 10 years have been than by "muslim Jehadist"."

This is not true. How about the Japanese cult that spread poison gas on the subway? How about the Maoists in Nepal? Various groups in South America? Timothy McVeigh? The Omagh bombing?

The Islamists are the most numerous but they are not the only ones. Unfortunately various different groups seem to be exchanging know-how and training.

Mr Behi,
Okay then .. go ahead and address the 'shadow' side of Islam!
Address the fact that Mohammed was a thief, a warlord and a pedophile.
Name another religion that has such an awful template.
Islam cannot be held equivalent to other world religions. When members of other religions act out evil in the name of a particular God, the religion must first be distorted. This is not the case with Islam. All one must do is follow Mohammed's example and totalitarianism will be employed.
Your 'peaceful' evasions cannot hide the truth: Islam needs a complete and total overhaul. Until then, I'm afraid it does not warrant respectful attention. Until then, it only warrants a well maintained offense.

I am not a religious person myself but I have learned to respect other people's beliefs .Bitter words come from a weak cause, we all know that.

I am really happy to see that even though I have been born in a muslim country in the middle east I am more developed in that respect than the guy who posted the comment you have replied to. It's not about where you are born and what religion you believe in.

In fact I find most of americans far too backward and far less liberal than myself. Heheh, and some of them as backward as Bin Laden himself.

I think you are being too nice with these people Mr. Behi. It has become quite clear that the internet gives a voice to all people, even those who seek to spread their senseless hatred. Although in a democracy we have laws to prevent such direct verbal abuse. What strikes me is that they can actually write and formulate an idea, however simple-minded and dogmatic it may be. We must not forget the likes of Hitler, and other articulate racists. Unfortunately, I don't think any compassion or even reason would work here. I would love to meet one in person, particularly a fine specimen such as Daisy. Although, they tend to prefer cyberspace - a new safe haven that attracts such degenerates alongside those noble and dissident voices - and fear real public exposure.

Mr. Behi isn't being nice, he is being evasive. Notice how many times you evade the question Mr. Behi: Are you willing to honestly address the 'shadow' side of Islam?

It isn't enough to simply state 'the shadow' exists if you are to take personal responsibility. Every day of the week people of faiths and cultures (other than Islam) discuss what isn't working in their particular culture/religion. By this discussion they hope to improve situations (and themselves).

Not so in Islam where everything is 'perfect'. Guess what? Something is rotten in Islam and it needs to be acknowledged; the sooner the better.

Choice: Either the Muslims acknowledge the rot or everyone else will. You have attacked too many people .. all over the world (the West is not the only one hated .. Asians/Africans etc. have been slaughtered for the unholy purpose of Islamic domination) I hope it's obvious to all Muslims that honest discussion is imperative for self-preservation.

Personally, I don't care if you have to risk your life with your fellow Muslims if you tell the truth. You are humanly obligated to be honest. I don't feel like taking the heat for your collective cowardice any more. And I am not alone. We are rapidly gaining in numbers. Don't ever confuse the American attitude of tolerance for carelessness. And don't underestimate our drive to justice.

A reader wrote: " The enemies of freedom are fundamentalists of ANY religion".
But I have not seen any organized fundamentalist Christian group or Bahai group or Buddhist group killing innocent people by suicide bombing! Have you? Please let me know.

To Vida: Please first name a few fundamentalist Christian, Bahai, or Buddhist groups first. Then I'll let you know which of them have had suicide bombings or similar acts like Muslims have had...

This is addressed to Daisy

Upfront, I'm not a Muslim, Christian, Jew and/or whatever falls in and out of their vicious circle and I'm neither proud of it nor do I feel I'm lost in darkness for not being a man of their faith. I have respect for individuals regardless of their chosen path to brighten their life.

Daisy, I think the only person who sounds like a fundamentalist here is you. You're not listening to Mr. Behi and keep pounding on your own agenda with closed eyes and ears and that's the definition of fundamentalism. Let's say Islam is rotten and its representatives are all thieves and pedophiles. Now what's next? After you make them admit they are all lost, are you going to take them on your path of salvation to your god? What god? Your Christian god of middle ages whose representatives burnt 5 million women on sticks, to say the least? Or the one whose sole hand on earth, the Pope, failed to punish even one proven pedophile just this past year before he was blessed with his mercy?! Or perhaps you would like to take them to your Elohim and Yahweh who demand the blood of sacrifice for salvation? Where else from there? What you should be really worried about, instead of thoughtlessly and selfishly suggesting that individuals like Mr. Behi (who happen not to be even Muslims or follower of any faith for that matter) sacrifice his life for your satisfaction, is mega corporate owners, "Hawks" and their supporting stinking politicians who are sitting up there with a pleased fat sneer from ear to ear at the faithful and naïve acts of foot soldiers like you, who, in their simple and black and white mind and in the name of their own version of god and truth condemn anything in existence that disagrees with their way of seeing the world. How come you fall short of asking them to cast light on their shadowy side that survives its blood-sucking life by non-stop production and selling of weapons of mass destruction in wars after wars? War of religions is fueled by hatred and blind fundamentalism and you and people like you are not helping, to say the least. Read some history and you'll (hopefully) think more and shoot less at birds of peace like Mr. Behi. You’re blaming the wrong person for the wrong reasons. Save your breath for something more productive.

Ali, why are you speaking for Mr. Behi? What's with the codependency?

Mr. Behi himself referred to the 'shadow of Islam'. I've asked him to address the shadow .. to withdraw it, if you will .. in order to take responsibility /ownership of what's wrong NOW w/Islam.

I don't advocate blaming. I advocate taking responsibility. You, on the other hand, use conspiracy theories and blame (not to mention codependency) to reach so called 'truth'. This is not functional, Ali; your tools don't work to find objective truth.

Bona fide religions practice self-examination -- an effective tool for providing truth and balance. It's not my doing that Islam is based upon false premises and other religions are not. But, since Islam IS based upon false premises and people ... collectively .. need to deal with this, I am naming what needs to be named and questioning what needs questioning.

Mohammed was .. whether or not you or anyone else likes it .. a thief, a pedophile and a warlord. These facts need to be acknowledged in the same way that all other problems need to be acknowledged. And the fact that billions of people have been severely compromised socially (and spiritually) by the basically degraded nature of Islam doesn't warrant further evasions in the false name of 'sensitivity' to "differences". Honest evaluations are warranted.

Islam needs to be seen for what it is and not for what it is not. And Muslims (and their apologists) ought to be the first to step up to that task.

I'm doing my part. It's not my intention to take any more heat in the form of bombs because the collective of Muslims and their lap dogs are so damned cowardly.

Not at all incidentally, Ali .. the numbers of sexually abused people in Muslim 'culture' is positively staggering. War, in the form of blood-feuds for 'honor', is (and has been since Mr. Mohammed's time) a routine part of Muslim expression .. and as for theft .. well, rug merchants are not allowed to write checks at American auctions. I'll leave it there.

Deal with it. And please have the self-respect not to answer for others. Does Mr. Behi actually need you to act as a human shield? I think not.

"Human shield", "Conspiracy theory"?! I know that language only too well Daisy. It's the language used by the very people you're pretending to criticize. What is this? Your "war" against Mr. Behi and no one is allowed to comment so that you keep pounding on your agenda? If what I say makes sense, why do you care who it comes from? Is that how you learn democracy and pass it on? You kept repeating everything you had said before. Nothing new. You're not listening, just as any other fundamentalist doesn't. I have lived under the iron authority of people with this attitude long enough to know its toxicity only too well. I have known Muslims and Jews and Christians who repeat exactly the same claims, verbatim, only they blame the others for their savagery and exploitations and abuse of "people of their rightful faith" and demand big-time apologies. One with this attitude can ruin the work of a thousand messengers of peace. My understanding of your claims is that you hate Muslims and Islam, rather than seeking justice for all victims of dark religions. I suffered enough under people with this mentality, only they were Muslims and I was the infidel, that I don't think it will be useful to try to convince you to step down and be more balanced, in practice rather than in words. If you are afraid of being a victim of bombing, I and my generation, including Mr. Behi, WERE its victim for 8 horrific years. Do you have any idea what it means to watch a 30 feet missile hit your neighborhood and run for your life? Do you truly realise what a scar it leaves losing your best childhood friends to bombs overnight? Yet I for one don’t advocate black and white interpretation of human history. If you don't want to take the heat of bombs, pick up your roots and move to Antarctica. That's the only solution at sight for the next half a century because when you spread the seeds of hatred and manipulation through "my-faith-is-THE-faith" over a millennium, you harvest hatred for another millennium to come. Apology of Mr Behi or any other victim of such hatred will be of no consequence. Fundamentalism doesn't need the label of Islam or Christianity of Judaism to be deadly. It is an obnoxious and malignant virus content in its own being. Nice talking to you.

" well, rug merchants are not allowed to write checks at American auctions". If your scope of understanding international politics and what's actually happening in the world of geopolitical relations goes as far as rugs and auctions, then I have nothing more to add!! I would, however, like to remind you to go back and check who authorized removal of several Saudi Arabian citizens of fame and fortune after 9/11 out of the US. So much for honesty of a government in protecting its citizens. Modern history is there to be read and taken note of. I repeat, though with little hope of being heard, you are blaming the wrong person for the wrong reasons.

Ali,
Any repetitions I've made have been in direct response to the inability of Mr. Behi and readers of this blog (including yourself) to respond to my challenge.

You mistake clarity for fundamentalism. But, you don't address the fact that Mohammed was:
a warlord
a thief
and a pedophile.
You don't address the degraded social and spiritual legacy this has left in the world (including the bombs in your yard in Iran). Instead you hide behind the false language of moral relevancy and ignore the evil being perpetrated in Iran, to name only one theocracy, in the awful -- but correct -- name of Islam.

At no time have I singled out 'my' religion. (For all you know, I'm a Muslim) I have spoken of religions that have shown the ability to examine themselves honestly; something Islam is incapable of, apparently.

Any Muslims who are good people are good despite Islam. Not because of it.
Mohammed's hateful urge for world dominion needs to be focused upon .. not my anger which you confuse with hatred.

Mr.Behi says: am wondering why you are still nagging like a little kid. This is so odd for me because the first great response from Ali would enlighten your mind if you would have listened. As Ali mentioned, you in a wrong place. We are not here to defend Islam and put light to it’s shadows. I am wondering what you want to get if other admit that Mohammad was what you claiming for. My knowledge of Islam is low and your desire for this answer can be satisfied by wandering around a good library if you ever want to read because if you wanted to, these previous comments would have been a good start. I think you first need to expend your view. Ali tried to show you the moon but you are still busy staring at his index finger.
