Waited to be wasted

Today, Mr. Behi was riding a cab to his office in one of the most crowded streets of Tehran (where he lives). This is city where you can find cars that manufactured more that 40 years ago along side with brand new models! Cars seem to be everlasting here and Mr. Behi wonders why the old fashioned, inefficient cars are wasting this precious wealth of fossil fuels. The cab stopped for a traffic light alongside one of those historic so-called vehicles where he became blessed by a pack of smoke from it’s exhaust. He thought for a moment that those drops of petrol waited millions of years down the Earth to become pollutants of their own origin (Earth). Mr. Behi just tried to have the window shut trying not to meet with the smoky result of human ignorance!
